At the Legislative Coffee, held at Ottawa City Hall Saturday, a lot of time was spent discussing Bills in the Kansas Legislature, surrounding education. A question was raised about increasing contact time between teacher and student. Representative Blaine Finch says it may be time to look at a different approach to school:
Another Bill sparking a lot of conversation is one that would require all teachers to post all their lesson plans on a certain website so parents could have access to it and know what their kids are being taught in the classroom.
