Nearly every State Senator has signed a Bill establishing a permanent memorial in the State Capitol commemorating the Kansas Suffragist Movement. The approval came after a presentation from the Kansas League of Women Voters. Steve Olinghouse has the story:
If approved, the sponsors will work with the Capitol Preservation Committee to make sure the plan fits into the grounds.
