An Ottawa developer appeared before the City Commission to tie up some loose ends on the Markley Addition, a new housing project generally locate at 739 Funston. Shawn Markley told Commissioners he’s had some problems with the city working with him on the development:
Markley apparently was referring to finding out late in the development, a city requirement that developers must provide green space for residents. Instead of providing green space, Markley says he plans to pay a fee that will be accepted in lieu of dedicated green space.
