Spring Hill USD 230 hired its next Superintendent. The Board of Education voted unanimously the hire Dr. Link Luttrell. Luttrell has worked as the Superintendent for Festus R-VI School District in the Saint Louis Area since 2013. USD 230 cited several notable accomplishments in Luttrell’s professional career, including the highest student academic achievement of the 11 Jefferson County Districts, the lowest tax levy of all the districts, and named the top work place within the Saint Louis Metro by the Saint Louis Post Dispatch.
The search for a new superintendent began after Superintendent Wayne Burke announced his intent to resign at the conclusion of the school year. Luttrell will begin his duties on July first.
