the child care dilemma is reaching a crisis point and something has to be done about it. That message is clear from Franklin County Development Council Director Paul Bean. During a joint luncheon of City, County and school officials, Bean related a child care incident that hits home:
Bean says child care may have to become a benefit that companies offer in order to give parents the option of employment while having child care. He says the FCDC Child Aware Committee, ECKAN, Childcare Providers and others will have a meeting April 11th to further discuss the child care issue and what can be done about it.
