The Ottawa City Commission has approved its role as an entity in certain loans taken out by Ottawa University. Mayor Eric Crowley read the description of the transaction, while noting it does not pose any financial risk to Ottawa:
The transaction is a regular event that’s part of the normal operation of the University.
