A total of nine properties were approved and added to the Neighborhood Revitalization Program during the Regular Ottawa City Commission Meeting. City Manager, Richard Nienstedt, took a moment to explain how the program works, using Ottawa Mayor Eric Crowley as a hypothetical example:
Neinstedt says he was a strong supporter when the Kansas Legislature passed the Program over 20 years ago, and it has been a strong factor in bringing back healthy neighborhoods around the State.
