A tragic accident yesterday took the life of a Osawatomie man. Just after 1:30, 26 year old Edward, “Eddie” Gulley was traveling southbound in the 1500 block of Vermont Road on his Kawasaki motorcycle when he struck a trailer being pulled by 82 year old Leigh Arnett of Princeton. Gulley was thrown from the motorcycle, coming to rest in the middle of the road. Despite the efforts of those first on scene and then emergency responders, Gulley was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The accident is under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s office.
