The Kansas Department of Corrections will soon distribute playing cards inside prisons and jails, which feature Cold Cases from across the State.
Most are unsolved murders. The deck also contains missing persons cases and unidentified remains. The idea is simple… perhaps an inmate or person in custody might have information they are willing to share.
One of those featured is on the Six of Hearts and a Cold Case Murder in Osage County. August 25th of 2017, Anna Baldwin’s skeletal remains were discovered at the Turkey Point Recreation Area of Melvern Lake, near Osage City. She had been shot, her black and white pit bull that normally was always by her side, was missing.
The Osage County Sheriff’s Office and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation is hoping someone in jail or prison sees her card and a memory is jogged and a tip leading to solving the case, will come forth.
If you know anything about the Anna Baldwin murder, please contact the KBI or Osage County Sheriff’s Office.
