There’s mixed news for beef producers in Kansas. The latest meat demand monitor national consumer survey conducted by Kansas State University shows beef demand remaining healthy. While retail beef sales are holding their own, restaurant beef consumption appears to be slowing down. K-State Livestock Economist, Glynn Tonsor, says the question is… what is the price point where consumers start turning to other meats?
