Interest in Franklin County is at an all time high, when it comes to economic development. Franklin County Economic Development Council Director, Paul Bean, says they are in conversations with a number of housing developers who want to put in houses, apartments and senior living facilities. New business is also looking at Ottawa and Wellsville for potential development. Work force is of course a big issue. He says one stumbling block is child care:
