The water towers in Ottawa are in need of some maintenance. the Ottawa City Commission heard from Water Treatment Plant Supervisor, Scott Snethen, during Monday’s Study Session. He described one project for the towers which would require a substantial increase in their budget; nearly $800,000:
Both the north and south towers were built in 1952. The north tower was painted in 2014, while the south tower last had a fresh coat of paint in 2002.
