The Ottawa Farmers Market opened yesterday and although it was a little rainy, a good crowd was on hand for the opening. This year’s market is being touted as one of, if not THE, largest market in memory, as the number of vendors has skyrocketed. Ottawa Farmer’s Market Representative, Brenda Hayden, who runs Aunt B’s Blossoms, runs us through some of the vendors and product available this year:
Veggies, flowers, bake goods, kettle corn, locally raised beef, coffee, eggs, plants, you name it!
The market is open every Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 and Saturday mornings at 8:00, through September. For a complete list of vendors, check out the Ottawa Farmer’s Market Facebook page. The same list is on KOFO’s Facebook page.
