The Garnett Air Fair will be at the Garnett Airport today. The event will run from 8:00 this morning until 1:00 in the afternoon. The fly-in event will provide a chance to see numerous aircraft in static displays, airplane rides, military aircraft, jeep rides, food vendors, face painting and much more. The is no admission fee; however, there will be a charge for plane rides. The highlight for many will be an appearance of a 1943 UC-78 Bobcat, from the Wichita Jayhawks Wing of the Commemorative Air Force. The plane was used by the U. S. Army Air Force Corp as an advanced multi engine trainer to teach pilots to operate the larger transport and bomber aircraft.
