The Ottawa Fire Department is asking for almost a $304,000 budget increase over the 2022 budget. Ottawa Fire Chief Tim Matthias says among the items needed is a new drone:
Other Fire Department cost increases are due to increased call volume, fuel and the re-purposing of a fire truck to one equipped to fight brush fires.
