Two students in Franklin County have been awarded scholarships from the Kansas Farm Bureau to support their educational goals within the field of agriculture.
Ottawa High School Graduate, Isaac Wingert, was awarded the Dewitt Ahlerich Memorial Scholarship, a permanent privately endowed scholarship fund. Cyla Gardner, a Central Heights Graduate has been awarded the Kansas Farm Bureau Scholarship. Both are students at Kansas State University and are juniors enrolled in K-State’s College of Agriculture and are majoring in a subject related to agriculture.
Over the past decade, the Farm Bureau has awarded more than $250,000 in scholarships, investing in students today to ensure they become tomorrow’s leaders in the AG World. Kansas Farm Bureau’s Mission is to strengthen agriculture and the lives of Kansans through advocacy, education and service.
