Students at Ottawa Middle School will have two new administrators leading them next year. It was announced earlier that Principal Charley Stoltenberg was leaving for the Washburn Rural District. Now, Assistant Principal Kyle Kost has announced he is leaving Ottawa to take a new position:
Kost has served as Vice Principal and Activities Director at Ottawa Middle School since 2016. He received his Bachelors’ Degree in Secondary Education from KU in 2008 and taught high school for seven years. In 2013 he earned his Master’s in Education Administration from Emporia State in Building Leadership.
He begins at Spring Hill High School on July first.
