The Franklin County Commission has given the preliminary go-ahead for the possible relocation of the Wellsville Ambulance from its current location near Downtown to a new site. County Administrator, Derek Brown, says it would amount to a partnership:
Brown says the town wants the ambulance to be located in an area next to the new police station. Cost of the project would amount to several hundred thousand dollars and Federal COVID Funds might be used to cover the cost. Brown says in return, he wants Wellsville to start contributing money to help cover the cost of the dispatch center.
