USD 367 Osawatomie School District patrons will have an opportunity today and tomorrow to meet the two remaining candidates for Superintendent. Current Superintendent, Justin Burchett, recently announced his resignation, effective June 30th.
Candidate interviews are scheduled for today and tomorrow. A reception for district staff and the general public is scheduled for 3:30 to 4:30 each afternoon, in the Osawatomie High School Library. Today, you can meet Greg Clark. He is currently the Superintendent in USD 112, Central Plaines, in his eighth year. The reception is your chance to meet the candidate.
The candidates were selected based on their characteristics and potential fit with the district and community. The desired characteristics were developed with input from an online community survey used during the search process. According to the district, the Board hopes to have a new Superintendent in place by July first.
