A Memorial Service was held Sunday morning, May 29, 2022 at the War Memorial in Downtown Ottawa, honoring all those who paid the ultimate price in serving our Country. Ottawa High School teacher, Candi Campbell, spoke to a crowd of about 100 people, about discussing the military with students over the years, include Chris Wasser:
Lance Corporal Chris Wasser, was 21 years old when he died from wounds suffered in a attack in Iraq. He is a 2001 Graduate of Ottawa High. He began training on September 11th, 2001, the day terrorist hijacked the planes and terrorized our Nation.
