If you are thinking of running for public office in the upcoming election, a very important filing deadline has arrived. Franklin County Clerk, Janet Paddock, with a reminder:
Today’s deadline, Wednesday, June 1st, also applies to any state office that was not affected by the redistricting maps, such as Attorney General, State Treasurer and Insurance Commissioner. June 10th is the deadline to file for those running for the Kansas House, Congressional District positions.
