The Franklin County Historical Society is getting ready for a big move. Staff members and volunteers have spent countless hours packing hundreds of boxes with material and the community has donated hundreds more boxes. Historical Society Director, Diana Starcinic-Dean says now they are in need of some volunteers to help with the actual move to the visitors center:
The move will take place from June 21st through June 27th. Starcinic-Dean says you won’t have to volunteer all of the days, but just when you are able. She says being in a more visible location will attract more people to the building and increase the importance of the history of the area. If you would like to volunteer, give her a call at the Old Depot Museum.
