An unfortunate accident near Williamsburg late last week, led to the death of a horse. Thursday night, just before 9:30, 43 year old Curtis McCammon of Williamsburg, was traveling north in the 100 block of Old 50 Highway when he struck a horse in the road, owned by 66 year old William Gooding of Williamsburg. The horse did not survive the collision and no other injuries were reported. McCammon’s vehicle, a Lincoln Aviator, was a total loss.
