A mailing company has been chosen to send out what is called “Truth in Taxation” property tax statements to property holders who exceed the Revenue Neutral; or, in other words, those properties that increase in value. Franklin County Clerk, Janet Paddock says it was hard to get good estimates of postage cost:
The County Commission voted to go with a company called “The Master’s Touch” at a price of a little over $11,000, with a possible 19,000 statements getting mailed out.
