The Blessing Box Foundation of Ottawa would like to serve you lunch, or dinner, today, Friday, June 17, 2022, from 2:00 to 5:00. They will be serving hot dogs and other goodies in front of the Goat Milk Soap Store in Downtown Ottawa. They will also have a cooler sitting outside the store all week, with bottles of water. Feel free to take what water you need. They won’t ask for any donations, but will always welcome them if offered.
The Blessing Box is also looking to expand. They are looking for a commercial property to store more food and have volunteers in the office to help throughout the day with things like finding resources… like getting a new ID. They prefer the north side of town, to reach those who may have been affected by the Hope House move. The least expense possible, with the owner possibly using it as a tax write off.
