As the temperature climbs, the risk of people or pets dying when left unattended in a vehicle, increases dramatically. Heat causes the most weather related fatalities than any other type of weather. You should never leave children, disabled adults or pets in parked vehicles.

That’s just at 80 degrees. Imagine what happens when you have heat like we have had this week. For instance, when KOFO’s Jeff Brewer opened his van yesterday after work, the temperature inside was 149 degrees! On average, 38 kids die in hot cars every year. So far in 2022 there have already been 10 deaths. Don’t let a tragedy happen to you.
