City engineers are working out the final details of the projects that will be funded by a Base Grant that the City of Ottawa received from the Federal Government. Four projects will be funded. Work on water towers, pressure pump and a new lift station. City Manager, Richard Nienstedt, gave some details on work being done on the fourth project, a gas line:
Ottawa received five million dollars from the Base Grant. The city must have matching funds of 1.25 million dollars. That number was approved at the Regular Commission Meeting, Wednesday, June 15th.
