The 2022 Liberty Fest will include music, food trucks and fireworks at Lake Garnett. The City of Garnett invites everyone to attend Liberty Fest, tomorrow, Saturday July 2, at Lake Garnett beginning at 5:00 in the afternoon, celebrating Independence Day, a couple of days early. There will be a free tribute concert featuring the popular band, Quite Frankly, in honor of the former Garnett City Commissioner, Cody Gettler. The band, Quite Frankly, are all high school students from around the area. Here’s a sample:
There is no admission charge, but donations are what make Liberty Fest possible. Donations will be accepted at the park entrance to help support this year’s event and next years. Come out to the lake and enjoy the music and the fireworks. With rain in the forecast, the rain date for this event is tentatively Saturday, July 9th.
