With the Ottawa fireworks display postponed, due to the fireworks stuck on a boat at sea, there are plenty of other activities going on this weekend to keep you occupied. Pomona State Park is having many activities through the entire weekend. Today, Saturday, July 2, food trucks will be available all day at the park and at 4:30, the famous boat parade. This year’s theme is “American the Great.” It will begin at 4:30, then at dark, a huge fireworks display at Lamont Hill.
Sunday, July 3,more activities. Face painting and other activities for the fids, food trucks again on site all day, then Sunday evening, enjoy the music of “The Lazy Wayne Band” as they perform a free concert at the Marina Stage, starting at 8:00.
