As Summer winds down and we get closer to the start of a new school year, it’s not too late to get the kids out to do some fun and educational things. don’t think you can afford it? How about getting into those places for free? Lincoln Elementary Principal Austin Entress, tells us about a program through the Kansas Department of Education called “Sunflower Summer”:
The app will give your kids, and up to two adults, free tickets to participating attractions. All Kansas students, pre-K through 12th grade, are included. For a list of participating attractions, visit “sunflowersummer.org” Beat the boredom and take advantage of the rest of the Summer.
