An accident Saturday afternoon, July 16, sent a Kansas City man to the hospital. Just before 4:00 that afternoon, 93 year old Joe Jennings of Kansas City, was traveling southbound on Tennessee Road in his Ford F-150 truck. He failed to navigate the curve and left the roadway to the right, before striking a tree. Jennings was transported to Advent Health Ottawa for treatment of the injuries he received in the accident. No word on his condition, however, fortunately they were reported as minor injuries.
