The swimmer who drowned at Clinton Lake on Saturday, July 16th, has been identified as a former Ottawa resident. According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, 22 year old Isaiah Rodriguez, formerly of Ottawa, was the man who disappeared while boating with friends at the lake Saturday. His body was found about 10:00 Saturday night after hours of searching.
Rodriguez most recently lived in Pennsylvania for work and school and was back in Ottawa visiting friends. He was attending Pennview Bible Institute and was a conference licensed minister and attended Pilgrim Bible Academy in Ottawa.
A visitation will be held at Lamb-Roberts in Ottawa Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00. Services are Saturday morning July 23, at 10:00.
