A new Assistant Superintendent for the Ottawa School District was introduced to the Ottawa School Board, during its regular meeting. Joe Vitt, previously worked for the Lawrence School District as a psychologist. He now takes over as Ottawa Assistant Superintendent and Director of Special Education. Vitt told the School Board he was happy to be in Ottawa:
Vitt replaces former Assistant Superintendent Dr. Josh Robinson, who left Ottawa last month for a position in Spring Hill.
