The Primary Election is history and it certainly had important issues for voters to decide. Franklin County Clerk, Janet Paddock, says turnout was rather heavy:
Paddock says the Election Canvass will be next Monday, August 8th in the Old Courthouse in Downtown Ottawa, starting at 9:00 in the morning.
In perhaps a surprise development, only one candidate showed up at the Franklin County Courthouse then left before the evening was over. Typically, in the past several years, candidates would show up to watch election returns.
