If everything goes as planned, one day you might be able to safely ride your bike along Old 50 Highway. That’s the upshot of a request of an engineering firm doing work to prepare for the widening of the highway. Franklin county Public Works Director, David Lee, says the engineers recently had a question for him:
Lee says installing a bike lane may also open other avenues of transportation funding. Commissioners appeared interested in the bike lane idea and directed that it receive more study.
