Recently, Osawatomie City Manager, Mike Scanlon, participated in a Frist Friday E-Community Phone Conference Call through the K-State Extension Service. He was one of three speakers to talk about how small communities can turn their trail into Tourism Destinations. He says he had a lot of positive feedback from people:
The Flint Hills Trail runs 117 miles from Herrington, through Council Grove, Osage City, Ottawa and ends with Osawatomie as the Eastern Terminus. It is known as” the Crown Jewel of Kansas Trails”.
