An Ottawa man charged with attempted murder of another Ottawa man in February, was in court recently. Franklin County Attorney, Brandon Jones, tells us more:
Cayson Wilson is charged with the February 5th shooting of 36 year old Zachary Downs, allegedly firing three shots at point blank range, at Downs. Officers were called to the 500 Block of North Mulberry and found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the leg. Officers applied a tourniquet in an attempt to slow the bleeding until EMS arrived.
Wilson is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, three counts of child endangerment, distribution of marijuana and felony theft.
