There appears to be a new member of the Ottawa Accessibility Advisory Board….the Ottawa City Commission interviewed Alexis Davis, who has mobility issues as well as her daughter. She told commissioners that accessibility needs to be improved, starting with City Hall.
Davis says it might be good to use focus groups to identify problem accessibility areas and come up with solutions. The commission approved appointing Davis to the Board……….her appointment is expected to be made official at the regular City Commission Meeting, tonight, August 2nd.
