Helen Louise Dozier, age 91, of Bucyrus, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Maggie’s Place of Overland Park, Kansas.

Rosary will be prayed at 9:45 am, Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 22779 Metcalf Road, Bucyrus, Kansas 66013. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral mass will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be held at Holy Rosary Cemetery, following mass.

Helen was born on April 22, 1933, in Louisburg, Kansas. She was the third of four children to Albert and Louise (Furthmyer) Stahl. Helen grew up and was a lifelong resident of Bucyrus, Kansas. She attended school at Queen of the Holy Rosary. She graduated from Queen of the Holy Rosary High School with the class of 1951.

Helen had six children; Janice, Michael, Mark, John, Tom, and Tim. She was a hard-working mother that cleaned homes and worked other odd jobs to provide for her family. Helen was content with the simple things in life, and was most happy when she was around her family.

Helen was a lifelong member of Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and baking. Helen loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything. She had a contagious smile and was always willing to help others when she could. Helen was a woman of strong faith; the church was an important part of her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Louise Stahl; three sons, Mark Dozier, Michael Dozier, and John Dozier; as well as three brothers, Bernard Stahl, Ralph Stahl, and Donald (Doreen) Stahl.

Helen is survived by her three children, Janice (Les) Stuteville, of Bucyrus, Kansas, Tom (Nicki) Dozier, of Louisburg, Kansas, and Tim (Tonya) Dozier, of Dunbar, Nebraska; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Janice Stahl.
