Susanne B. Magnenat, 90, of Osawatomie, passed away on November 13, 2024, at Vintage Park of Osawatomie with her daughter by her side.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Dengel & Son Mortuary-Paola Chapel beginning at 9:30am with a funeral service to follow beginning at 10:30am. Burial will take place at Paola Cemetery following the funeral service.
She was born on August 19, 1934, to Albert and Amy (Riker) Bosler in Kansas City, Kansas.
On September 3, 1983, she married Francis William “Bill” Magnenat. Susanne and Bill lived in Paola, Kansas. Traveling brought enjoyment to Susanne and Bill. They would travel to Boston, California, Indiana, and Virginia, where they lived a couple of years in each state for Bill’s job. Susanne would later move to Osawatomie, Kansas in April 2023.
Susanne liked to spend her time reading books and spending time with her family, especially her dog, Mila.
Susanne is survived by her daughter, Ruth and husband Randall Bettis, son, Bill Edward and wife Debra Dillon, Jr., step-son, Wesley D. and wife Rita Magnenat. As well as 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill Magnenat, great-grandson, Jacob Langbein, son, Dennis Dillon, step-son, Mike Magnenat, step-daughter, Dianne Magnenat, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
