OTTAWA — This year, the Ransom Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is 75. The hospital receives many benefits from the auxiliary, including the thousands of dollars that the auxiliary has raised for the hospital, hospital CEO Larry Felix said. And for many patients, auxiliary volunteers are the friendly face of the hospital, he said. He said it’s unusual for a hospital auxiliary to reach 75 years.
