OSAWATOMIE — There was considerable vandalism at a century-old cemetary in Osawatomie. Between 15 and 20 headstones were toppled at Oakwood Cemetary. Among them was the headstone of Samuel Adair, founding father of Osawatomie and a key figure in the “Bleeding Kansas” days.
