WASHINGTON — Kathleen Sebelius is now the U.S. secretary of Health and Human Services. Shortly after receiving her Senate confirmation Tuesday night, she was sworn in at the Oval Office. President Obama said she’ll get right to work dealing with the swine flu crisis, which is why the confirmation vote was speeded up. The president said he expects her to hit the ground running. The U.S. has had at least one death from the swine flu. Mark Parkinson was sworn in as Kansas’ 45th governor Tuesday night. Parkinson says his first job is to help balance the state’s budget.
