OTTAWA — The Ottawa farmers market is off to a booming start ever since it began earlier this month. The market continues to be a good deal for local farmers and buyers, manager Freone Hollinger said. The market has some new vendors and ever-popular produce and frozen meats continue to be offered, she said. The farmers market is 4 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Saturday morning on the eastern side of the Orscheln’s parking lot. The farmers market will go until the end of October.
