OSAWATOMIE — The 18th annual Osawatomie Communitywide Garage Sale is June 6 at City Auditorium and at individual locations.The garage sale at the City Auditorum will benefit the YMCA Scholarship Fund. Volunteers and donations are needed at the auditorium, organizer Donna Eichorn said. Donations can be taken to city auditorium the day before. Individuals can hold their own sales but the garage sale committee requests that families or groups register with the city for $7.50 for an individual family and $10 for groups. The fees will go to advertise the communitywide sale, she said. Those sales that are registered will be included on a city map. Those who register can also bring their unsold items to City Auditorium beginning at noon June 6. The Miami County YMCA will follow the Saturday event with a sale 10 a.m.-2 p.m. June 7.
