OTTAWA — Ottawa school superintendent Dean Katt said Wednesday he’s working on a budget for next year, a task made more difficult as legislators have continued to cut state funding for schools. Legislators have made several changes in funds and presently Ottawa schools have had to cut employees and teachers to make up a shortfall of more than $1million, he said.
