OTTAWA — If you’re an Ottawa teenager you can have lunch with Mayor Blake Jorgensen. Next Wednesday’s “Munch With the Mayor” will give high-school-age students a chance to talk about Ottawa’s future and eat free food with the mayor, said Youth in Government advisor Lisa Rivers. Rivers said she’ll also talk about the Youth in Government program at the lunch. In the past, teens in the Youth in Government spearheaded the city’s anti-smoking ordinance and water conservation and rain-barrel efforts. Munch with the Mayor is open to students who are freshmen through seniors.
