OTTAWA — Deb Barker of the Franklin County Historical Society said kids can still sign up for this week’s Chautauqua camp. History teachers Anne Birney and Joyce Thierer will help fourth- to eighth-graders to research local figures from local history beginning 1-5 p.m. today at the Old Courtroom at the Franklin County Courthouse. Students will research their historic figures and will portray them at Friday night’s Chautauqua, Barker said. You can still pick up registration forms at the Ottawa Library, Old Depot Museum or the Franklin County Records Center, 1124 W. Seventh St. Terrace or by calling Bsarker at 242-1232.
