PAOLA — Miami County will ask for $26,000 more in federal grant money to build a five-unit T-hangar at the Miami County Airport. The Miami County Commission originally asked for $250,000 in federal grants for the first phase of the project. The $26,000 covers the second phase of the project, Administrator Shane Krull said. The county’s share of the cost will be $14,000. The T-hangar will help meet the demand for enclosed aircraft storage in Miami County and the surrounding area. The project will be done this year.
