WILLIAMSBURG — Midnight is the deadline to vote for Guy’s and Mae’s Tavern, Williamsburg, as one of the Eight Wonders of Kansas Cuisine. Franklin County Convention and Tourism director Kristie Lee is organizing a last-minute push to get votes for the storied barbeque joint. Three Franklin County sites have reached the finals of the Kansas Sampler Foundation’s “Eight Wonders” charts but so far, none have made the wonders list, Lee said. She said that’s something she’d like to change. To vote, go to the Kansas Sampler Foundation Web sites at www.kansassampler.org or ‘www.8wonders.org.
